⚖ Petition Debate Starts Today
The NSW Parliament will hold a debate today resulting from the petition submitted by Lynda Voltz, member for Auburn.
The petition against Metropolitan Memorial Parks converting Carnarvon Golf course to a cemetery site exceeded a 10,000 signature threshold allowing the matter to be brought before the NSW parliament.
The debate is slated to begin today at 4:00 pm. You can watch the webcast of the legislative council here.

☠ Asbestos Awareness Month - Free Asbestos Information, Inspections and Collection
In recognition of asbestos awareness month, Cumberland City Council are organising a free information session 29 November at Auburn Centre for Community.
Additionally council are offering free 45 minute household inspections for mostly original homes built before 1990 and an ongoing collection service for small quantities of asbestos detached from buildings.

Bring a box of preloved toys or outgrown clothes to swap with others.
