Lidcombe Library

📚 Lidcombe Library reopened

Lidcombe Library was closed over December for maintenance and reopened its doors this past Monday.

Lidcombe library is open 9:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday to Friday and 9:30 am - 12:00 pm Saturday.

📺 Garage Sales

Today’s new section is for local garage sales. If we know about an upcoming garage sale we’ll include it in its own section separate from events.

Context: An Australian X user with 57.4 thousand followers posted a video walking through Cabramatta, well known for its Vietnamese community. The Vietnamese have been in Sydney since the 70s. The original poster of the video was later seen in the discussion thread to be seemingly upset that no one was speaking English.
