🚸 New Pedestrian Crossing - Auburn Road and Ferrier Road
As part of the Road Safety Program a new pedestrian crossing with be installed at the Auburn Road and Ferrier Road intersection. Traffic lights at the intersection will also receive an upgrade.
Work on the intersection commences after 7 December and finishes 27 February 2026.
Please be aware if you frequent this intersection that you may need to take a detour or follow traffic controller instructions.

📚 Library Event - Christmas Family Movie
Join the libraries for a relaxed Christmas movie afternoon—perfect for getting into the festive spirit. Follow a boy, his pet mouse and a brave little reindeer as they set off to find his father and the legendary village of Elfhelm.
Suitable for ages 5+ and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Bookings open one week prior at 9am, and each attendee will need a ticket.

Context: Bollards of many shapes and sizes have been delivered to Martin Place on numerous occasions in the past including after the Lindt Cafe attack in December 2014. It’s not surprising that additional precautions for the Christmas season are being taken in light of the recent attack at Bondi Beach. Stay safe everyone.
