Today I cover some recent news regarding the Fairfield petrol fire. I’d like to extend a full hearted thank you to the brave men and women in our emergency services sector for promptly handling the crisis and every other crisis as we enter the summer season.
I’ve also put out the missing pet notice for Almond a second time today, in case you missed Monday’s email. If you’ve lost a pet in the Western Sydney area please reach out and I’ll post a notice for you.

🧯 Fairfield Petrol Fire
At 12:45 pm Tuesday, Fire and Rescue services were called to a petrol station blaze on Hamilton Road in Fairfield potentially due to a gas cylinder explosion.
13 trucks and 50 firefighting personnel were called to the scene. Firefigthers were able to secure the area and no injuries were reported.
Investigations into the origin of the fire are currently ongoing.

This is Almond.
The 1 year old ginger tabby has been missing from his John Street (Lidcombe) home since 26 November. He has a small scratch on his nose and is described to be very friendly.
His owner is pleading for help.

🌻 Botanica Garden Donation Day
Botanica Garden is opening its gates to the community next Sunday for a sausage sizzle and bake sale. Come down and meet the rest of the community, learn about the garden and how to become a member.
